Founded in 2012 by dedicated Claire Lilienthal (CL) parents, SFKIEA emerged in response to funding challenges and with a vision to expand the Korean Immersion Program into middle school.

With middle school funding now secured primarily through SFUSD, SFKIEA continues its mission through strong partnerships with:

• Korean Immersion Program teachers

• CL parents and administrators

• Members of the greater Korean community

• Claire Lilienthal PTA and School Site Council (SSC)

Through these collaborative relationships, SFKIEA works to celebrate Korean culture and enhance Korean language instruction for all Claire Lilienthal students.
